The outstanding rugged beauty of Exmoor National Park is a very short drive away where even in the height of the season a secluded picnic spot will still be found. You may even find yourself sitting amongst Exmoor's curious wild ponies, or catch a glimpse of the red deer. Overhead you may also see one of the regions many birds of prey. You may prefer to leave the car behind and explore on foot the tree lined banks of the East Lyn River which is literally on your doorstep.
